Everything you need for the night: the rules, badge limits and the schedule. Read through before you head out.
Your start time (and afterparty venue) is printed on your ticket. You can't start before it, but you can start any time after — up to 18:30, when the starting checkpoint closes.
Only one stamp per card per bar. No exceptions.
The order of achieving the badges is A, C, L and finally T. You must have A before C, C before L and L before T. Previous badges must be shown when claiming the next one. No exceptions here either.
Bring some cash along, but pay by card when you can — cash comes in handy as a backup if a bar has technical problems. If you're moving as a group, it's fastest to pay for everyone at once.
You have until 23:59 to reach your afterparty venue and get your badge. Arrive in good time — for example half an hour early, ideally before 23:30 — since the queue can be long.
Afterparty venues open and badge distribution starts at 21:00. The afterparty artist starts around midnight, 00:00.
At Limeksen appro, badges can only be achieved in order: Approbatur, Cum Laude, Laudatur, and finally the Doctor title. When claiming a badge higher than Approbatur, you must show your previous badges.
Starting checkpoints open. Please arrive only shortly before the time printed on your ticket, though — you can't collect your card any earlier.
Starting checkpoints close. Tickets can no longer be exchanged for cards after this.
Afterparty venues open and badge distribution begins.
The achievement window and badge distribution close.
The afterparty artist starts.
You get a stamp for any drink served at the restaurant, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Every bar should also have an easy, quick "appro drink" option. You can also get a stamp for food orders at restaurants marked as serving food on the appro map.
Only one (1) stamp per card is accepted from each venue. You're welcome to enjoy more than one offering there, but extras won't count toward your badge.
Participants must be at least 18 years old (K-18).
Participants must follow the law, in particular the Finnish Act on Public Order (Järjestyslaki 612/2003), and other regulations. The City of Helsinki's public order rules must also be observed.
Taking drinks outside, and borrowing or stealing glasses, mugs and similar items from a restaurant, is prohibited by law. Displaying your own drinks or bottles in a public place is also prohibited under the Act on Public Order (612/2003).
Every participant is responsible for their own actions. Please be courteous towards other people and their property. Thank you!
The ticket you bought from kide.app shows the start time. The ticket can't be used before the time indicated on the ticket - this is to distribute people over time to avoid large crowds.
Go to the starting place indicated in the ticket. Prepare for queues; we try our best but you might have to queue 10-15 minutes.
Show the electronic ticket from your smartphone to appro staff; they'll tap the ticket as used (not you) and give you the bar crawl card ('suorituspassi', onto which the bars give you one stamp per drink).
Start appro. The bars you can visit are printed on the map on your card. Enjoy a drink (or more) per bar; you'll get at most one (1) stamp per bar.
Badge achievement limits are shown above: A=8, C=12, L=16 and T=20 stamps on your card (i.e. count of bars you'll need to visit).
Note that the badges must be completed in order, and previous badges must be attached (preferably sewn) onto your overalls. In other words, if you already have 'A' badge, you can only get 'C', and you need at least 12 stamps on your card. Similarly, to receive 'T', you need to have all three previous badges 'A', 'C' and 'L' attached (preferably sewn) onto your overalls and at least 20 stamps on your card.
After you have enough stamps on your card, go to the afterparty place (written on the card) and get your badge.
